OJI established, many years ago, a certification program for tournament officials, including timers, scorers and recorders in addition to the referee certification program. The "Requirements" page details the program for certification including prerequisites, expectations and fees. "Forms" are attached and may be downloaded for your use. "Cert. Timer, etc." is a listing of all active timers, scorers and recorders whose OJI Certification is still valid. NOTE: your certification expires after 2 years and requires recertification. "Study Info" is the electronic version of OJI Scorers, Timer's, Recorders Handbook. This handbook provides information on the responsibilities of these positions as well as giving detailed descriptions of many elimination systems and the Texas Match System (for notifying competitors when it is their turn to compete on a match by match basis). |
