Welcome to the Web Site of Ohio Judo, Inc. (OJI) - the State Governing Body for Judo in Ohio.  Included in this site are tournament schedules and links to several excellent other judo sites as well as information on a variety of OJI programs, clubs and members.  Please check us out and visit often.  Comments are welcomed.  

Our Mission

OJI strives to provide programs that enhance the development of all aspects of judo at all levels of proficiency.  Current activity involves competition and clinics for shiai and kata, official's training and certification, rank promotion systems, registration services and event sanctioning to help avoid conflicting schedules and maintain established standards.

Organization Profile

Ohio Judo, Inc. is a Group B member of United States Judo, Inc. (the National Governing Body for Judo in the U.S.).  We are composed of judo clubs and individual judoka who are residents of the State of Ohio and members of the corporation.  We are governed by a Board of Directors (based on club representation) and Executive Committee in between Board of Directors Meetings.
